About The Role
A permanent, full-time CNC Turner position has arisen in Rochdale OL16 with a small, family-run subcontract machine shop. The successful candidate will programme, set and operate CNC lathes, working independently and alongside a close-knit team to meet customer specifications, with quality central to every job. Applicants should be experienced turners, confident programming offline or at the machine, able to read engineering drawings and inspect their own work. Hours are sociable, with regular overtime available, flexible holidays and a modern workshop. Pay is up to £21 per hour, dependent on experience. This role suits a skilled machinist seeking secure, long-term employment.

Salary: Up To £21 Per Hour, Depending on Experience.
Location: Rochdale OL16.
About The Company
They are a small family run sub-contact CNC machine shop based in Rochdale, working closely with their employees to achieve customer requirements with an emphasis on Quality. They offer a modern workshop with the expectation of employees to be able to Programme, Set and Operate, work on their own initiative and work well in a small team. In return they offer good rates of pay, a pleasant working environment, sociable working hours, flexible holidays and regular overtime.
The company are now looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join their team.
Role & Requirements
- Programme, Set and Operate CNC Lathes that have Fanuc operating systems, Multi Spindle experience is an advantage.
- Work with all types of materials, including steel, aluminium, plastics, and other materials.
- Perform routine maintenance on machine equipment and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Perform quality control checks on parts produced by the machine.
- Maintain work area to ensure it is clean and organized.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures established by the company or organization or employer.
- Rochdale OL16: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
- CNC Setting: 3 years (required).
- English (required).
