Job Title: CNC Machinist / CNC Turner

Location: Clayton West, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Role Type: Full-time / Permanent / In-person

At B&B Precision, we are a CNC machining and subcontract manufacturing specialist based in Clayton West, producing high-precision, complex components to tight tolerances for customers across a range of industries.

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Turner (Programmer/Setter/Operator) to join our team, working with both Haas and Siemens lathes.

Qualifications

  • Apprentice trained or time served with a minimum of 5 years experience in a programming environment.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience operating CNC machines.
  • Experience using Siemens, Fanuc or Haas controls.
  • Ability to programme, set and produce high-quality components from engineering drawings.
  • Ability to use standard measuring equipment (CMM training will be provided).
  • Previous experience working in a CNC machining or precision engineering environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required to meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Salary

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience (DOE), plus generous overtime rates.

Standard Working Hours

  • We offer a choice of the following working patterns:
    • Monday to Thursday - 7:15 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday - 7:15 AM to 11:30 AM
    • Monday to Thursday - 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday - 8 AM to 3 PM

Your preferred working pattern will be agreed during the recruitment process.

Overtime available on request.
