This is a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Turner / Setter / Operator to join an engineering company based in Milton Keynes that manufactures high precision CNC milled and turned components from solid and cast in a wide range of metals and plastics for a variety of industry sectors.

Shift Details

As CNC Turner / Setter / Operator, you will be working the late shift:

  • Monday to Thursday: 14:00 to 22:00
  • Friday: 13:00 to 20:00

Requirements

What we're looking for in a CNC Turner / Setter / Operator:

  • Experience in Setting/Operating across MAZAK and Doosan CNC machine centres, ideally within a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of either Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.
  • Good understanding of Engineering drawings and proficient in carrying out in-process dimensional and visual checks using the appropriate measuring equipment.
  • Proficient in programming with live tooling.
  • Experience in managing a wide range of metals and plastics.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
  • Ability to mind multiple machines if required.
  • Confident in working with a degree of autonomy.

Salary

In return you will receive a salary of GBP 40,000 to GBP 50,000 per annum (GBP 20 to GBP 25 per hour) for this role as CNC Turner / Setter / Operator.
