CNC Turner - Permanent & Contract available - Motorsport
Weekday night shifts & Weekend day shifts available
We currently have a number of CNC Turning roles available based in Thatcham, Berkshire.
We're looking for experienced CNC Turners to join one of our most prestigious Motorsport clients, who are currently going through an exciting period of expansion.
About the Role
You will be responsible for setting, operating, and running CNC Turners to produce transmission components. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a strong understanding of machine setup methodologies. You will be working on highly complex components, ensuring strict adherence to GD&T requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting, operating, and running CNC Turners
- Producing transmission components
- Adhering to strict GD&T requirements
Requirements
- Knowledge of general tool pathways & ISO Fanuc G-codes
- Experience with macros and probing programming would be advantageous
- Completed a formal apprenticeship and have general engineering experience including turning and toolmaking
- Experience within the automotive, aerospace, or motorsport industries would be a huge advantage
- Ability to understand comprehensive engineering drawings and instructions
- Good understanding of the properties of the materials used
- Good levels of concentration
- Ability to work both unsupervised and as part of a team
- Self-sufficient attitude and good work ethic

Shifts
- Weekends: Friday to Sunday: 06:00 - 18:30
- Nights: Monday to Thursday: 19:00 - 06:00
