C#.NET, High Volume Data Platforms | Global Energy Trading | Up to £75,000 + Benefits | London | Hybrid

An established organisation operating within the Energy Trading sector is seeking a Software Developer (.NET / C#) to join its engineering team in London. You'll help develop enterprise-scale applications and distributed platforms that process high volumes of real-time data, building resilient software within a modern cloud-first environment while solving complex engineering challenges alongside experienced engineers and architects.

The Software Developer (.NET / C#) Role

As a Software Developer (.NET / C#), you'll join a high-performing engineering team responsible for developing modern applications that support a fast-paced, data-rich environment. Working on distributed systems and real-time data platforms, you'll build scalable software capable of processing large volumes of data while maintaining exceptional performance, reliability, and resilience.

  • Strong commercial experience developing applications using C#/.NET and Angular
  • Experience designing and building event driven, distributed systems
  • Proven experience developing high-performance applications that process large volumes of real-time or business-critical data
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, with experience optimising data-intensive applications
  • Experience with Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, or similar modern distributed technologies
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing, and modern development practices
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders
