About The Role
Triad Group Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join its dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that deliver meaningful impact across various sectors, including public, private, and third sectors. Based at client locations, working remotely, or in our offices in Godalming or Milton Keynes, the successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust software applications using the.NET Core framework alongside associated web technologies such as React, Blazor, or Angular.

As a key member of the development team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to understand project requirements and propose effective solutions. Your expertise will help ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions that meet client expectations. Candidates must be willing and eligible to achieve a minimum of SC security clearance, a requirement that underscores the sensitive nature of many of Triad's projects. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess relevant academic qualifications such as a degree, apprenticeship, or master's in computer science, software engineering, or related fields. Proven experience as a C# Developer or in a similar software development role is essential, with a strong proficiency in C# programming language and the .NET framework, including .NET Core.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum, and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework are required. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as version control systems like Git, is highly desirable.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication and collaboration abilities, and the capacity to work independently or within a team. Holding current SC-level security clearance is preferred, but candidates must be able to gain clearance if not already held.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain C# applications, components, and systems in line with project requirements and industry standards.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow developers, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to uphold code quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and debug software applications, resolving issues promptly to optimize performance and reliability.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and technologies in web development and software engineering to incorporate innovative solutions.
- Document code, technical specifications, and user manuals to facilitate future maintenance and knowledge transfer.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies, and team practices.
