About The Role

Triad Group Plc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# Developer to join its dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using.NET Core and associated web frameworks such as React, Blazor, and Angular. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs.

As a Senior C# Developer at Triad, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape by defining, designing, and delivering innovative digital solutions across the public, private, and third sectors. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and creativity, allowing you to take ownership of your work while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will be at the forefront of solving complex problems, working with the latest technologies, and driving projects that have a meaningful impact on society.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess relevant training, qualifications, and experience in software development practices, including degrees or equivalent certifications such as an Apprenticeship or Master’s degree. Proven experience as a C# Developer or in a similar role is essential, along with proficiency in C# programming language and the.NET framework, including.NET Core. A strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum, and experience with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL are required.

Additional qualifications include familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and effective communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as version control systems like Git, is preferred. Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain SC-level security clearance, with the ability to meet the UK residency requirement of five years.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust C# applications, components, and systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow developers, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Participate actively in code reviews to uphold code quality, provide constructive feedback, and share knowledge with team members.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability of applications.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and technologies in web development and software engineering to continuously enhance skills and project outcomes.
  • Document technical specifications, system designs, and code to facilitate maintainability and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, methodologies, and team practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
