Job Description
The adult Haematology service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT) service runs one of the largest stem cell transplant (SCT) JACIE accredited programmes within London, performing approximately 170 procedures annually. The portfolio of the transplant unit has further expanded to include CAR-T therapy and other innovative cellular/gene therapies.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting to a Band 7 CNS/Coordinator role within the SCT team. The post holder will work as an integral member of the wider multi-disciplinary SCT coordination team, acting as a key worker, supporting the various transplant related treatment pathways.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist nursing advice and support related to SCT/Cellular therapies
- To support the safe coordination of SCT treatment pathways working as an integral member of the transplant coordination team.
- To participate in all aspects of the planning and coordination process for patients undergoing SCT and other cellular therapies.
- To fulfil the role of CNS, working as an autonomous practitioner, managing a defined caseload.

Key Requirements
- Highly motivated with previous experience in the specialty, including stem cell transplant.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Collaborative working to ensure effective working with the wider multidisciplinary team to champion best practice and enhance patient experience throughout the transplant journey.
