Co-founder & CEO – Drug Discovery AI Platform (Spin-out from Deep Science Ventures)
Join us to build the company that makes AI do the reasoning work of drug discovery—so a small team can achieve the research output of a large one.
We are seeking an experienced founder and operator to partner with our two technical founders as Co-founder & CEO, guiding our platform—a spin-out from Deep Science Ventures—through a competitive seed round, Series A, and beyond.
The Opportunity
Drug discovery remains fundamentally constrained by human cognition and siloed information. Progress relies on researchers manually sidestepping limiting factors:
- Ability to read and connect vast datasets across fragmented teams
- Capacity to hold complex hypotheses in memory
- Speed of validating new ideas—bounded by the pace at which human intuition can test them
It’s one of the world’s most critical unresolved challenges—and one of the least scalable.
"Doing the reasoning work"
We’re building the AI that replaces rigorous human reasoning at scale. Our platform:
- Generates and tests drug-disease hypotheses by synthesising fragmented evidence
- Reconciles scientific claims and verifies their validity against current data
- Connections evidence trapped in disparate tools/teams, reducing friction and accelerate discovery
Already evidence of leapfrog impact: The engine successfully processed a disease’s entire literature, constructed a cohesive biological map, and produced drug-target hypotheses—each stamped with clear evidence trails (supported, refuted, and traceable).
We hit ground-running product/market-fit: current go-to-market focuses on integrated target validation, informing discovery teams on priority targets and their backing.
Look long-term to full-gamut drug discovery acceleration—predicting how a molecule and disease will interact before mid trial and explaining the findings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
