Co-Founder - Operations, Product & Growth @ GridRail
Full-time · Experience working inside a fund is essential
We are building GridRail to help private credit funds run their operations with less manual work, clearer information and greater confidence in their numbers.
Fund teams manage complex investments alongside accounting, reporting and coordination with investors and service providers. Too much of that work relies on disconnected spreadsheets, repeated checks and manual follow-up. Our ambition is to bring it together around a shared fund model, with calculations the team can understand and check.
We have built a working MVP and are developing it closely with a private credit design partner.
You’ll work alongside GridRail’s founder and CEO, with ownership across product, customer relationships and commercial development, as well as the practical work of building the company. Your experience inside a fund will help shape what we build, how we explain it and how we win our first customers.
The role would include:
- Product: Work directly with fund teams to understand their workflows, identify the problems worth solving and turn them into clear product priorities. Help define requirements and assess whether what we build works in practice.
- Customers and growth: Build relationships with fund managers, CFOs, controllers and operations teams. Lead discovery conversations, pilots and onboarding; find and win early customers; and help develop our positioning and pricing.
- Operations: Own day-to-day business execution, keep priorities moving and establish practical processes as the company grows.
- Partnerships: Develop relationships with fund administrators, accountants and other industry partners who can support customers and help us reach new ones.
- Company building: Help recruit the early team and contribute to fundraising, investor relationships and wider company decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Be able to earn the trust of finance professionals, ask useful questions and communicate complex topics clearly.
- Actively experiment with AI tools and be able to explain how you use them, what helps and how you check the results.
