What if AI could fundamentally change how equity research is done?
We’re building AlphaOS — an AI-native Investment Intelligence OS for investors.
Investment research is still fragmented across financial databases, filings, earnings calls, company websites, news, spreadsheets, and analyst workflows.
AlphaOS brings this information together into a continuously evolving financial knowledge graph and uses AI to turn it into actionable investment intelligence.

We’re now looking for a Founding Partner / Co-founder focused on Investment Intelligence to help us build what comes next.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for someone who has spent years inside investment research or investing and wants to help build the future of the industry.
You might currently be or have been:
- Equity Research Analyst / Associate
- Buy-side Research Analyst
- Portfolio Manager
- Investment Analyst
- Senior Researcher
- Investment professional at an asset manager, hedge fund, family office, or similar institution
You understand how professional investors actually research companies.
You’ve built financial models, analyzed earnings, read filings, developed investment theses, and made investment decisions.
You probably know Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, or similar platforms extremely well.
And you may have started asking:
“Why are we still doing so much investment research manually when AI can understand financial information continuously?”
WHAT YOU WOULD OWN
This is not an advisor or consultant role.
As a founding partner, you would help shape the investment-intelligence side of AlphaOS.
You would work with the founding team to:
- Define what AI-native equity research should look like
- Design research workflows for analysts and portfolio managers
- Establish standards for high-quality AI investment research
- Shape AlphaOS’s research methodology and intelligence framework
- Identify the signals and relationships investors actually care about
- Test AlphaOS with professional investors and turn their workflows into product
- Shape Premium and institutional products
- Develop relationships with investment professionals and early customers
- Help define the long-term vision for AlphaOS Investment Intelligence

WHY ALPHAOS?
We believe AI will not simply make existing equity research faster.
It will fundamentally change how investment research is performed.
Instead of an analyst manually searching thousands of documents, earnings releases, transcripts, and news articles, an AI-native system can continuously understand companies, detect changes, connect evidence, and surface what deserves an investor’s attention.
AlphaOS is being built around that idea from day one.
We already have the technology and infrastructure.
Now we want to build the investment-intelligence company around it.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The most important qualification isn't your university, CFA status, or job title.
It’s how you think.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Deeply curious about investing
- Intellectually rigorous
- Comfortable challenging assumptions
- Excited rather than threatened by AI
- Entrepreneurial and highly self-directed
- Low ego
- An excellent communicator
- Comfortable operating without a large corporate structure
- Excited about building rather than simply advising
- Able to think from the perspective of both investors and customers
Ideally, you have 7–15 years of experience in equity research, portfolio management, investment analysis, or fundamental investing.

Technology, software, internet, semiconductors, AI, or other growth-company coverage would be particularly relevant, but we’re open to exceptional candidates from other sectors.
COMPENSATION & COMMITMENT
AlphaOS is currently pre-revenue, so there is no salary at this stage.
This is an equity-based founding opportunity.
The successful candidate would receive meaningful founder-level equity, with the exact allocation determined based on experience, commitment, and the scope of the role.
Standard founder vesting would apply.
As AlphaOS reaches revenue and raises capital, compensation will transition accordingly.
This opportunity is therefore not intended for someone looking for a conventional salaried position.
We’re looking for someone who wants to take meaningful early-stage risk in exchange for meaningful ownership and the opportunity to help build a company from the beginning.
ABOUT THE FOUNDING TEAM
AlphaOS is being built by a technology founder with 16+ years of software engineering experience and 8+ years in technical leadership, including work with Fortune 500 organizations such as Huawei, Walmart, HSBC, and Alibaba.
AlphaOS has been built from the ground up as an AI-native financial intelligence platform.
We now want to add a founding-level partner who brings something we cannot manufacture with technology:
deep understanding of how great investment research is actually done.

You are successful in finance but increasingly believe that the traditional investment-research workflow is going to look very different over the next 5–10 years.

You want to help build what comes after the current generation of investment platforms.
LOCATION
We are particularly interested in candidates based in London and the broader UK investment ecosystem, although exceptional international candidates are welcome.
