Role Description
The Lead Mobile Software Engineer (iOS & Android) is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and a polished user experience. Day-to-day activities include architecting mobile solutions, writing and reviewing code, guiding implementation of best practices, and collaborating closely with product, UX, and backend teams. The person in this role will mentor other engineers, coordinate with the distributed technical engine, and help define technical standards and processes for mobile development. They will also participate in roadmap discussions, support releases, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of the studio’s mobile engineering capabilities.

Lead cross-platform mobile development for our product wing—including our flagship London Mosque Finder application—and high-impact client software.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and maintain performant cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter or React Native.
- Integrate geolocation services, real-time mapping APIs, and local notification engines.
- Work alongside UK lead architecture to establish clean code standards and automated mobile CI/CD pipelines.
