Manchester Founders is a new community designed to create meaningful, high-quality connections between ambitious founders across Manchester.

The community was created in response to a common challenge of building a business: it can be isolating, particularly when there are few opportunities to have honest conversations with others facing similar challenges. While many networking events can feel formal, transactional or focused on pitching, Manchester Founders aims to offer something more personal, curated and enjoyable.

The community brings together founders across different stages and backgrounds, with a focus on finding the right people to connect with rather than simply maximising numbers. Events include curated dinner tables of up to six founders, matched around factors such as business stage, team size and experience, alongside larger social events, summer gatherings, hikes and other experiences shaped by the interests of the community.

The initial concept was tested in 2025 and received positive feedback. Manchester Founders is now being developed into a larger, established community and brand.

The business is currently pre-revenue, with an ambition to grow its reach significantly while reinvesting a proportion of early profits back into the business.

Role Description

The Co-Founder – Social Media & Marketing will take ownership of the social media and content strategy for Manchester Founders, helping to establish the brand, grow its audience and attract the right people to the community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
