Overview of Department
This role sits within the Investor Access, Projects and Support (IAPS) team, which forms part of Investment Research Services (IRS). IAPS provides aligned co-ordination services to Investment teams, including managing corporate access and delivering projects and events across the wider Investment department.
Investment Research Services enables an effective, connected and future-ready research experience across research operations, knowledge and research technology. The team helps Investors access research and discover insights, while improving workflows, tools and services to make support simpler, more resilient and scalable.
Purpose of Role
You'll provide dedicated, proactive and high-quality co-ordination support to aligned Investment teams and groups, helping investors focus on investment decisions for our clients.
You'll take ownership of day-to-day co-ordination activities and stakeholder requirements, while contributing to projects, operational support and improvements to ways of working across the wider team.
Responsibilities
Investment Team Co-ordination & Corporate Access
- Provide proactive, high-quality co-ordination support to aligned Investment teams and groups, delivering a reliable and consistently high-quality service.
- Manage corporate access for aligned Investment teams, including complex diary management for meetings with companies and analysts, and co-ordinating international research trips, ensuring arrangements, schedules, itineraries and records are effectively managed.
- Co-ordinate Investment team activities and internal meetings, ensuring relevant information, materials, systems and data are available and maintained effectively.
- Build trusted relationships with Investment teams, developing a strong understanding of their priorities and evolving requirements and resolving or escalating issues appropriately.
Projects, Events & Operational Delivery
- Co-ordinate and contribute to projects, events, offsites and wider Investment team, Neighbourhood and departmental initiatives, working with others to support effective delivery.
- Plan and deliver activities involving internal and external stakeholders, including venues, suppliers, visiting speakers and associated logistics, ensuring they are well planned and successfully delivered.
- Maintain effective operational support for aligned Investment teams, including reporting requirements and supplier payments.

Collaboration, Improvement & Future Readiness
- Collaborate across IAPS, Investment Research Services and the wider business, sharing knowledge, resolving issues and strengthening partnerships that support effective Investment team delivery.
- Identify and implement improvements to ways of working, using business systems, digital tools, AI and automation appropriately to simplify processes, reduce manual activity and improve service quality and efficiency.
- Be proactive in adopting new technology and ways of working, developing confidence and capability and sharing knowledge and effective practices with colleagues.
- Contribute operational insight and ideas to the development of the service, responding to evolving Investment team needs and contributing to effective ways of working.

- Investment teams receive a reliable, proactive and consistently high-quality service that responds to their priorities and evolving needs.
- Work is planned and prioritised effectively, with corporate access, projects, events and operational activities delivered accurately, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
- Trusted relationships are built and maintained with Investment teams, colleagues and external stakeholders through clear, professional and responsive communication.
- The Co-ordinator contributes to a resilient and collaborative service by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and providing effective cover where required.
- Ways of working continue to improve, with new tools and technology adopted with curiosity and sound judgement to simplify activity, build capability and create capacity for higher-value support.
Your knowledge and experience
- Experience providing high-quality co-ordination, administrative or operational support in a busy environment, ideally supporting senior stakeholders or teams with complex requirements.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to self-manage workload, prioritise competing requirements and deliver accurately to agreed timescales.
- Experience building effective working relationships and communicating professionally with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement, with the flexibility to respond as priorities change and escalate issues appropriately.
- Confidence using business systems and digital tools, with a willingness to develop capability with AI and automation; specialist expertise is not required.
