About The Role

Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking to recruit an experienced PSV Coach Driver at our Barton Depot. The role would suit an experienced coach / HGV driver. For this role, there are a number of shift times needed to be covered over 35 hours per week and the Coach Driver will need to be flexible to meet these needs.

Critical purpose of role:

  • To ensure the safe and efficient transportation of Wren Employees to and from work in the Hull Area
  • To ensure fleet compliance and health and safety standards are adhered to and continuously improved
  • To adhere to EU Drivers Hours and Working Time Regulations
  • Safety all passengers at all times

Main responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily pre-user checks ensuring vehicle is roadworthy at all times
  • Collect staff early AM and drop off mid-afternoon for beginning and end of shift
  • Ensure the vehicle is driven in accordance with all road traffic legislation including speed limits
  • Drive in an economic and defensive manner
  • Ensure the coach is kept clean and tidy inside and out
  • Always present yourself – smartly dressed and polite to passengers
  • Ensure passengers are safe when undertaking a journey on the coach
  • Passengers do not smoke or conduct themselves in a dangerous manner will on board
  • The coach is fuelled up at all times
  • Ensure the coach is not overloaded
