Role Description

This is a full-time coach driving role operating airport scheduled services from Stansted into London.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Safely driving coaches
  • Following assigned timetables and routes
  • Performing basic vehicle checks
  • Reporting any defects or incidents promptly

The role involves:

  • Assisting passengers with boarding and alighting
  • Handling luggage
  • Providing clear and courteous information
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming vehicle environment

Qualifications

  • Valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) licence and Driver CPC qualification, with a strong focus on safe, compliant driving
  • Proven experience driving large vehicles or coaches, with confident route planning and navigation skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional and courteous approach to passengers
  • Ability to follow schedules, work flexible hours (including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays)
  • Good understanding of road safety, relevant traffic regulations, and company operating procedures
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a wider operational team
  • Basic vehicle care skills, including conducting pre-journey checks and reporting maintenance issues promptly
  • Right to work in the UK; previous experience in passenger transport or coach travel is an advantage
