Coach — Padel Quarter

Portsmouth, Hampshire

Full-time | Permanent

£28,000–£34,000 base + performance bonus

About Padel Quarter

Padel Quarter is an exciting new padel club launching in Portsmouth — part of the fastest-growing sport in the world. We're building a premium venue that combines high-quality padel courts with a great café, pro shop, events programme, and a genuinely welcoming club community.

The Role

Be part of something from day one.

We're recruiting for a brand-new padel club opening in Portsmouth, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Coach to help build an outstanding player experience from the very beginning.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified coach who enjoys delivering great coaching while also playing an active role in a growing sports business. As a start-up club, you'll combine on-court coaching with supporting member experiences, sales activities and day-to-day club operations, helping us grow participation and establish a thriving padel community.

You'll work closely with the Head Coach and Club Manager, delivering coaching programmes for all ages and abilities while contributing to the welcoming atmosphere that will make Padel Quarter the go-to destination for padel in the region.

Whether you're coaching beginners, supporting junior development, assisting with events, or helping members make the most of their club experience, you'll play a key role in the success of the venue.

What You’ll Be Doing

Coaching (all ages and abilities)

  • Deliver coaching across all ages and abilities; juniors and adults, beginners through to advanced players, in individual, group and clinic formats.
  • Plan and run structured programmes including the junior programme, holiday camps, adult courses and school or community outreach, coordinating with the Head Coach.
  • Design and deliver individual lessons and player-development pathways for members at every level.
  • Help players of all levels with technique, rules, etiquette and on-court queries.
  • Support exhibition matches, competitions and social play events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
