Are you an experienced coffee shop assistant, brasserie or restaurant staff member seeking an opportunity to work in a coffee shop in the most iconic retail space in London?

Stellar Global is recruiting for a coffee shop assistant at Samsung KX, located in our flagship store in the heart of King’s cross, London. It's a permanent, part-time role (15 hours per week, 2 days) which will involve working on weekdays and weekends on a rotational basis around the store’s opening hours.

Samsung KX was launched, in collaboration with Stellar Global, in 2019. Samsung KX is their impressive flagship European brand experience space and Stellar is responsible for managing and developing its exceptional people. Designed to give guests the ultimate immersive brand experience, it is a place where people are invited to discover, interact with and learn new skills in a dynamic environment through a range of workshops, events and performances together with local community partners.

The overall purpose of the role:

The Café Assistant is responsible for the efficient operation of the café overseen by the Café Manager, you will assist with all aspects of the cafe's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness, managing inventory and revenue opportunities, including catering services for events. The Café Assistant will report directly to the Café Manager and General Manager.

  • This role is based in London, at Samsung KX, King's Cross area
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, mornings and evenings, as required
  • Previous experience in café or hospitality, preferably in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Proficiency in inventory management and financial analysis
  • Relevant certifications such as Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or higher) and First Aid Certification (optional)
