Job Description
Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Coffee Shop Supervisor to join our team working at Elthorne Park, W72AH.
You will be responsible for assisting the Group Manager with the day to day running of the unit, managing your team, and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will also be providing general front of house services, such as preparing orders and oversee service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operation of the coffee shop, ensuring efficient service and high standards throughout the school day.
- Prepare and serve a range of food and beverages, including coffee, snacks, sandwiches, and freshly made pizzas.
- Lead and support catering staff, allocating tasks, providing guidance, and promoting a positive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, HACCP, and health and safety regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Deliver excellent customer service to students, staff, parents, and visitors, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
- Manage stock control activities, including ordering supplies, checking deliveries, monitoring inventory levels, and reducing waste.
- Operate and oversee cash handling and till procedures, ensuring accurate transactions and financial accountability.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all food preparation, storage, and customer service areas, ensuring equipment is used and maintained correctly.
Key Requirements:
- Supervisory Experience - Previous experience supervising in a café, coffee shop, catering, or hospitality environment.
- Food Preparation Skills - Experience preparing and serving fresh food, including pizza production, while maintaining high quality standards.
- Food Safety Knowledge - Good understanding of food hygiene regulations, HACCP principles, and health and safety requirements, with a Food Safety Level 2 Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Customer Service & Leadership Skills - Strong communication, customer service, organisational, and team leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
