Business Development Co-Founder Opportunity at MatchMyMood
MatchMyMood is an early-stage consumer technology venture addressing a widespread, everyday problem. A working product has been developed and is now moving through private beta and launch preparation.
I’m seeking a commercially driven co-founder who can help turn a promising product into a scalable business.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing our go-to-market and app launch strategy
- Identifying and building strategic commercial partnerships
- Testing and developing sustainable monetisation opportunities
- Creating a strong commercial pipeline and converting opportunities into lasting relationships
- Supporting customer acquisition, growth experiments and market expansion
- Helping shape our fundraising strategy and commercial story

Requirements
- Extensive senior-level business development or commercial experience
- First-hand experience launching and growing a consumer app or digital platform
- A strong understanding of monetisation, partnerships and revenue development
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills
- A data-informed approach to testing ideas and measuring results
- A hands-on founder mindset, resilience and comfort working in an early-stage environment
- The time and commitment to help build the business—not simply advise from the sidelines
Experience within consumer technology, digital platforms or marketplace businesses would be especially valuable. Fundraising and investor-network experience would also be a strong advantage.

Opportunity Details
This is an equity-based co-founder opportunity rather than a salaried role at this stage. The equity structure, vesting, responsibilities and expectations would be agreed openly with the right person.
As MatchMyMood is currently pre-launch, detailed information about the product, commercial model and strategy will be shared with suitable candidates following an initial conversation and the signing of an NDA.
