Band 7 BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist to join our team. We require a highly skilled and motivated practitioner to work as part of a dynamic psychological therapies team providing high quality, specialist evidence-based treatment to primary and secondary care patients. The post holder will be innovative, enthusiastic, and flexible and able to work both autonomously and as part of the team.
The postholder will offer Cognitive Behaviour therapy, working into the North Locality treatment team and into the Primary Care Integrated Mental Health Hub offering specialist CBT assessment and intervention, developing formulations and implementing evidence-based interventions in line with NICE guidance. This post also offers an opportunity to develop skills in consultation through offering consultation to staff in the teams as needed.
They will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures. They will also be committed to the principles of recovery, have effective interpersonal and time management skills as well as being a responsive and motivated team player.

The successful applicant will be BABCP accredited or be willing to work towards this.
The successful candidates will receive management supervision from the team manager and clinical supervision from a Senior CBT Therapist. There will also be the opportunity to access appropriate training to further develop skills.
