Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Cold Calling role based in Northampton. The Cold Caller will be responsible for making outbound calls to prospective clients, introducing Foskett Marketing Solutions’ services, and generating qualified leads for the sales and account management teams. Day-to-day tasks include following call scripts, recording call outcomes, updating lead information in CRM tools, and scheduling follow-up conversations or meetings. The role involves researching target businesses, identifying decision-makers, and communicating the value of the agency’s branding and marketing solutions in a clear and professional manner. The Cold Caller will collaborate with marketing and sales colleagues to refine messaging, share feedback from prospects, and help optimize outreach strategies.

  • Strong verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills suited for high-volume outbound calling.
  • Ability to handle objections, build rapport quickly, and maintain a professional, positive tone in all interactions.
  • Experience with lead generation, telesales, or customer outreach in a marketing, advertising, or related environment.
  • Comfort using CRM software, call-tracking tools, and basic productivity applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
  • Organized approach to managing call lists, documenting outcomes, and meeting daily and weekly performance targets.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to remain focused in a fast-paced, target-driven on-site setting.
  • Basic understanding of branding and marketing concepts and willingness to learn agency service offerings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in marketing, communications, or business is a plus.
