Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Coldroom Installer, with travel to customer sites required as part of the job. The Coldroom Installer will assemble and install insulated panels, doors, and associated structures for coldrooms and coldstores, following technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include fitting refrigeration components, sealing and finishing joints, installing floor and ceiling systems, and ensuring that all installations meet safety and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with project managers, communicating with clients on-site, troubleshooting installation issues, and completing basic documentation such as job reports and checklists. The installer is expected to work safely, manage tools and materials, and collaborate with other trades as needed to complete projects on schedule.

- Experience with coldroom or coldstore installation, including panel assembly, door fitting, and structural finishing.
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and temperature-controlled environments, with the ability to follow technical drawings and installation manuals.
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely, with good practical skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of health and safety practices, including working at height, manual handling, and site safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach on-site.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with supervisors, colleagues, and customers, and for completing clear job documentation.
- Willingness to travel to various customer locations and adapt to changing site conditions and project requirements.
- Relevant trade experience in construction, refrigeration, or a similar field; vocational qualifications or certifications in a related discipline are an advantage.
- Valid driving license and right to work in the United Kingdom.
