Collaboration Manager

Reporting to: Collaboration Director

About the role

The Collaboration Manager plays a key role in delivering partnership and collaboration projects, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and support organisational growth. The role focuses on creating, developing and implementing collaborative models that deliver measurable value, financial efficiencies and enhanced sector capability.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of key partnership and collaboration projects.
  • Research, analyse and interpret data to inform business decisions and support strategic objectives.
  • Develop, plan and implement partnership models across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Produce clear, professional reports and project documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to achieve project outcomes and maximise resource efficiency.
  • Conduct detailed research and present findings in a concise and accessible format.
  • Agree project objectives with the Collaboration Director and key stakeholders.
  • Represent Prosper professionally and embody the organisation's brand values.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Produce detailed project plans and manage delivery timelines.
  • Monitor progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Support the development and delivery of collaboration engagement strategies.
  • Represent Prosper at regional forums, working groups and industry events.
  • Lead project activities that strengthen corporate partnerships and collaborative networks.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Prosper's services, objectives and commercial priorities.
  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the level and responsibilities of the role.

Role context

This role operates predominantly within the social housing sector. The successful candidate will work alongside housing association asset investment teams, contractors and suppliers to design and deliver collaborative approaches that unlock efficiencies, strengthen sector capability and generate measurable outcomes.

Essential experience and skills

  • Experience analysing information and implementing structured partnership activities.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings effectively.
  • Commercial awareness and business understanding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications

  • A Levels, HND or equivalent qualification.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Experience working with housing associations, local authorities or within the social housing sector.
