Salary: £38,500 + Benefits!
Location: Hybrid working, home & UK travel, as & when required (approx once a month)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

The Collaboration Platform Engineer is part of the Collaboration Platform team within Technology Operations, with responsibility for the design, administration, configuration and specialist support of CAG’s M365 platforms.
As a Collaboration Platform Engineer, you’ll support our employees and teams across the businesses, driving positive user experience and frictionless collaboration throughout our tenants whilst maintaining best practice and security standards as defined in collaboration with Information Security. You’ll be at the forefront of significant work modernisation programmes as we migrate from legacy systems, educate our users on efficiencies that can be achieved through our platform and enable our wider teams to maximise their usage of M365.
The Collaboration Platform Engineer will have a passion for digital experience and transformation with a focus on automation, reliability and security. You’ll bring deep expertise across the M365 ecosystem, with a particular focus on Intune and endpoint management.
Role Accountabilities:
- Acting as an SME for Microsoft 365 and participate in projects involving M365 apps and services
- Designing, implementing and maintaining Intune-based endpoint management for Windows, iOS, Android and macOS devices
- Developing and maintaining device taxonomies (categories, filters, attributes) to support scale and targeting
- Driving seamless user experiences using Multi-Tenant Organisations across M365 services
- Identifying, designing and implementing opportunities for automation to increase employee efficiency and driving self-service capability
- Optimising core M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and MS Teams
- Working with collaboration and business stakeholders to enable effective platform usage
- Supporting service health monitoring, incident response and root cause analysis
- Creating comprehensive documentation and knowledge repositories detailing technical designs, configuration and support guides

Knowledge and Experience:
- Significant endpoint management experience, including Intune migrations from legacy systems
- A proactive, motivated and enthusiastic approach to delivery
- A continuous improvement mindset with a user centric approach
- 5+ years experience managing Microsoft Intune (endpoint management, compliance, apps, updates & migration) deployment in excess of 5,000+ devices
- Minimum 3+ years managing Microsoft 365 Ecosystem; Entra ID, Teams, SPO, ExO & OneDrive
- Experience with vendor and license management at an enterprise scale
- Engineering experience implementing and operating within a multi-tenant organisation
- Automation experience using PowerShell with Microsoft Graph or other scripting language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, evolving environments
- Platform ownership mentality with attention to detail
- Customer-centric approach with clear communication capabilities across technical and non-technical audiences
- Platform monitoring, reporting and optimisation
- Experience implementing Zero-Trust principles across complex organisations

Desirable
- MD-102 Certification and/or other Microsoft qualifications (MS-102, MS-700, MS-203, MS-104, SC-300)
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or ITSM tooling
- Familiarity with Agile ways of working
- Policy as code
- PowerBI dashboarding and reporting
