- Contact customers via phone to collect overdue payments
- Work with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve payment issues
- Use communication skills to build rapport with customers and encourage payment
- Document all communication with customers in a clear and concise manner
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets to earn commission
- Work independently

- Work independently, while staying in touch with team leader or manager
- Follow up on payment promises and commitments made by customers
- Escalate difficult collection cases to the appropriate team leader or manager
- Maintain compliance with all collection laws and regulations

Job Requirements
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification would be advantageous
- At least 1 year of experience in collections or customer service would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet collection targets
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to handle difficult customers and situations with tact and professionalism
- Knowledge of collection laws and regulations is an asset
- Computer literacy essential
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace

Working Conditions
The Work from Home Call Centre Collection Agent will work remotely and will be responsible for providing their own workspace. This is a commission-based role. The job may require sitting for long periods and using a headset or phone.
