About the role

Join the Ashmolean Museum's Digital Collections team and help shape the future of one of the world's leading museum collections. You will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of digital collections projects that support the Museum's digital transformation, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and in line with digital collections policies, standards and systems.

You will manage projects from planning through to delivery, oversee digitisation and cataloguing initiatives, and work collaboratively with colleagues across curatorial, conservation, photography, development and digital engagement teams. You will also support research and innovation activities, contribute to the development of digital collections policy and processes, and supervise project staff, volunteers and students where appropriate.

This is a full-time, fixed-term post for 2 years.

About You

You will have proven project management experience, with a track record of delivering complex projects using recognised methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall. You will have experience working with digital collections and digitisation projects in a museum or heritage environment, together with excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
