Role Description

The College Director and Principal for University of Plymouth International College at Navitas is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Cambridge. This position is responsible for the overall academic, operational, and strategic management of the college, ensuring high-quality teaching, student support, and successful learner outcomes. The role involves:

  • Developing and implementing college strategies
  • Monitoring performance against key targets
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory and quality assurance standards

The College Director and Principal also represents the college within the Navitas global network, contributes to new program development, and supports initiatives that enhance student recruitment, retention, and progression.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in Strategic Planning and Program Development to shape college direction and expand academic offerings.
  • Proficiency in Budgeting and financial management to oversee college resources and ensure sustainability.
  • Strong Research and analytical skills to inform decision-making, policy development, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Training, staff development, and performance management to build effective academic and professional teams.
  • Significant experience in higher education leadership or academic administration, ideally within pathway or international education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate with university partners and external organizations.
  • Proven track record in enhancing student experience, academic quality assurance, and learner outcomes.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in education, management, or a related field is highly desirable.
