Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference to their wellbeing, behaviour and personal development?
Due to a current College Leader gaining internal promotion, we are seeking an exceptional College Leader to join our pastoral team. This is a rewarding non-teaching role, responsible for providing high-quality pastoral care and support to students, while leading a team of Form Tutors. The successful candidate will work closely with students, families, staff and external agencies to promote excellent attendance, behaviour, welfare and personal development. As a College Leader you will be an influential middle leader in the school with a real opportunity to make an impact.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the experiences and futures of young people within a thriving secondary school community.
Job Details:
- Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Working weeks: 42; 38 weeks term time, plus 5 staff learning days
- Additional workload: College Leaders will also be paid for an additional 3 weeks to cover additional workload for out of hours/safeguarding work. College leaders will be expected to work 2 days in the holidays if required.
- Salary: Full-time post at Band J (points 26-29) is within the range £38,510 to £41,177 starting point depending on experience and qualifications. Actual salary based on hours and weeks worked is £35,925 to £39,284 subject to any continuous service plus an out of hours/safeguarding allowance of £1064.77 per annum.
