Role Description

The College Services Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Portsmouth, responsible for supporting the delivery and coordination of student-facing services across the College. This role oversees day-to-day service operations such as student enquiries, front-of-house reception duties, and administrative support for academic and support teams. The Coordinator assists with scheduling, record-keeping, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure smooth service delivery and compliance with College policies. The role involves collaborating with colleagues to improve processes, supporting orientation and student events, and assisting with communications related to timetables, services, and general college information. The College Services Coordinator works closely with students to provide timely information, resolve service-related issues, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive campus environment.

  • Demonstrated Service Coordination skills, including organizing student services, managing enquiries, and supporting day-to-day operational processes.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to engage effectively with a diverse student body, staff, and external partners.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, for handling student information, documentation, and routine correspondence.
  • Experience or aptitude in Operations Management, such as scheduling, maintaining records, and supporting office or campus-based workflows.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
  • Competence using common office software and student information systems; willingness to learn new tools and processes.
  • Experience in an education or student services setting is advantageous, as is familiarity with international education pathways.
  • Relevant post-secondary qualification or equivalent experience in administration, education, or a related field.
