Bring interiors to life. Inspire customers. Shape beautiful homes.
Welcome to Graham & Brown Holdings – a family of companies; founded in 1946, we are a proud British, fourth-generation family of companies. For 80 years, we’ve been inspiring people to think differently about their homes through creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation.
Across both Graham & Brown and G&B Home Living, our vision is simple: to design our future, and our mission is clear: to help our customers create loving homes.
Graham & Brown has been at the forefront of interior design for eight decades. From our in-house studio, we create premium wallpapers, paints, murals, soft furnishings, bed linen, and wall art, drawing inspiration from an archive of over 50,000 pieces.
At Graham & Brown, we believe great design transforms spaces, and great people make it happen. We’re looking for passionate, creative, and customer-focused Colour & Design Advisors to join our small, dynamic Showroom team and help customers turn inspiration into reality.
This is a hands-on, highly interactive role where your eye for design, love of interiors, and ability to connect with people will shine. You’ll curate mood boards, offer expert styling advice, guide customers through our premium product range and support them from their initial enquiry through to purchase and beyond.
You’ll also play an important commercial role within the Showroom, identifying sales opportunities, following up customers and quotes, resolving customer queries and proactively building awareness of the Showroom within our local community.
And because our customers are most inspired, and most active, at weekends, this role includes significant weekend working. As a small team, we all pull together to deliver an exceptional experience when it matters most.
What you’ll be doing as our Colour & Design Advisor:
- Creating a stylish, welcoming Showroom environment that reflects the Graham & Brown brand
- Inspiring customers with expert interior design advice and personalised consultations
- Curating bespoke mood boards and design presentations
- Delivering exceptional, memorable customer experiences from first hello to final purchase
- Building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to increase sales
- Supporting the team to achieve Showroom sales targets and KPIs
- Following up customer enquiries, quotes and previous showroom visits to help convert opportunities into sales
- Processing orders accurately and assisting with delivery logistics
- Resolving customer queries and problems quickly and professionally, taking ownership through to a successful resolution
- Keeping customers informed throughout the order journey and providing a high level of after-sales service
- Developing relationships with local businesses, designers, trades and the wider community to generate awareness and new opportunities
- Carrying out proactive local outreach to introduce Graham & Brown and the Showroom to potential customers and partners
- Hosting and supporting community and brand events
- Developing deep product knowledge across materials, finishes, colours and design trends
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and security, including key-holding responsibilities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
