THE ROLE
Seeking a Comedy Talent Agent to grow and represent our roster of comedians.
We represent a fast-growing roster of digital-first comedians - from viral sketch creators to stand-up comics, and we’re looking for a driven, comedy-obsessed agent to help take them to the next level.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for scouting & signing new comedic talent, running live & digital campaigns and managing day-to-day relationships with our talent. You’ll help comedians grow their audiences across YouTube, short form platforms, podcasts, and beyond.
We’re seeking for someone who understands the traditional comedy world and the digital creator landscape. You’ll need strong industry instincts, great taste, and the hustle to make big things happen for funny people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Talent Representation: Manage and develop careers for a roster of digital comedians - from stand-up acts to sketch creators.
- Client Servicing: Act as the primary point of contact for talent, handling everything from day-to-day communication to career planning and long-term development.
- Campaign management: Running digital campaigns across long and short form platforms.
- Career Growth: Identify and create strategic pathways for talent - whether that’s through IP development, touring, podcasting, or cross-platform expansion.
- Platform Strategy: Advise clients on how to optimise across platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram).
- Talent Scouting: Proactively discover and approach emerging comedy creators who could be a strong fit for The Gold Studios.
- Industry Networking: Grow & maintain relationships with platforms, producers, festivals, venues, and media contacts relevant to digital and comedy talent.
- PR & Supporting talent events: Assisting on shoots, appearances and events when needed, ensuring smooth coordination and representation.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS
- Desirable: 6 months to 1 year+ in talent representation or talent management (either in comedy, digital media, or entertainment).
- A strong instinct for what makes a great comedian or creator and how to build their career.
- Deep understanding of YouTube, TikTok, IG and the creator economy.
- Excellent communication and people skills - able to manage talent relationships with empathy, clarity, and vision.
- A strong network (or the drive to build one) across digital platforms, comedy venues, and production companies.
- Hunger, hustle, and a real passion for comedy.
