Cleaning Supervisor and Cleaner Positions

Location: St Andrews and St Brides High School, Platthorn Drive, East Kilbride, G74 1NL

Hours: 15 hours per week on a term time basis

Work Pattern:

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 3.30pm - 6.30pm
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 4pm - 7pm

Salary:

  • Cleaner: £5,396
  • Supervisor: £5,521 - £5,580

Role Description

Responsibilities

  • Carry out cleaning functions on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, and walls.
  • Monitor standards of cleaning in line with specifications and COSHH regulations, reporting any difficult issues to management.
  • Set up rooms for lets and be the responsible person on site for reporting health and safety issues.
  • Supervise a team of Facility Assistants (Cleaning), including assisting with training, recruitment & selection, maximising attendance, and team briefs.
  • Ensure the security of the building is maintained and act as a key-holder as required.
