Job Description
Location: London, GB

Role Overview
We are looking for a Commerce Director who oversees the commerce business for Vogue and GQ across Germany, Italy, France, and Spain.
Main Responsibilities
- Business Owner for Commerce Revenue: Across Vogue and GQ
- Commerce Proposition: Develop a differentiated commerce proposition that adds value for readers and partners
- Growth Targets: Deliver growth targets through long-term strategic plans and tactical opportunities
- Merchandise Assortment Strategy: Rebuild the assortment strategy to support editorial messages and key commercial metrics
- Merchandising Tools: Implement tools to optimize category mix, brand portfolio, and pricing architecture
- Retail and Brand Partnerships: Develop and maintain exceptional partnerships
- Partnership Growth: Collaborate to grow brand partnerships with enterprise accounts
- Content Strategy: Oversee content and distribution strategy, ensuring brand voice and standards
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a multi-skilled commerce team
- Go-to-Market Activity: Collaborate to maximize commerce activities, including newsletters, social media, paid campaigns, and events
- Data and Analytics: Work with product and data analytics to develop reporting and manage weekly trade
- Platform Development: Collaborate to develop the commerce platform, user experience, and performance metrics
- Profit Management: Manage revenue and personnel costs
- Other Duties: As assigned

- Global Executive Director, Global Senior Director, and SVP of Commerce
- Editors-in-Chief and Local Head of Content in Each Market
- Digital Directors and Audience Development for the Brand
- Advertising Cross-Functional Leads in Each Market
- Consumer Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Finance Teams
- Product Management and Data Management Organizations
Skills and Qualifications
- Deep understanding of the fashion industry, including e-commerce
- 5+ years of experience in building an ecommerce or affiliate commerce business
- Merchandising and Partnership experience preferred
- Proven vendor/partner relationship management with a commercial viewpoint
- Experience in managing and coaching a small team
- Comfortable with revenue forecasting and planning
