Are you a driven and experienced Commercial Insurance professional looking for your next challenge? Join One Broker, part of the Jensten Group, as an Account Executive in our growing Commercial team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding our presence in the Commercial sector. You’ll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team within a respected name in the industry. We’re happy to hear from candidates who are already working as Account Executives, as well as experienced Commercial Handlers who are ready to take the next step in their career.

With the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis from our Colchester office, you’ll enjoy a dynamic environment that values your expertise and encourages growth. Plus, there’s free parking available on-site, making your commute that little bit easier.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients in the commercial insurance sector
  • Develop new business – mainly through business referrals and enquiries
  • Identify and act on business development opportunities to attract new clients
  • Cross-sell and up-sell relevant products and services to existing and prospective clients
  • Present tailored insurance and risk management solutions to secure new business
  • Understand clients’ operations, risks, and insurance needs
  • Meet clients in person or via Teams to build strong, lasting relationships
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards, including Consumer Duty

About You:

You’re a confident communicator and natural relationship builder with a background in commercial Insurance. You’re motivated by success and committed to delivering outstanding service.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance – either as a Handler or Executive
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) – desirable.
  • Experience with Acturis – desirable.
