Overview
The Commercial Niche Practice (CNP) Account Executive plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client service, ensuring high levels of retention, and supporting new business growth in line with the Practice’s strategic objectives. Acting as a trusted advisor and risk mentor, you will adopt a client-centric approach to managing insurance programmes, providing tailored solutions, and helping clients effectively manage risk.

How you'll make an impact
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Understand client needs, anticipate future requirements, and deliver tailored insurance solutions.
- Conduct regular client reviews (in person and virtually) to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities.
Renewal & Policy Management
- Lead the full renewal process, including broking strategy, placement, and timeline management.
- Present optimal terms that align with client objectives.
- Support Account Handlers with technical expertise and query resolution.
New Business Development
- Partner with internal and central sales teams to identify and convert opportunities.
- Develop and deliver strategies to grow the client portfolio.
- Lead broking exercises, leveraging internal and external support functions.

Insurance Solutions & Risk Management
- Advise clients across a broad range of insurance products and solutions.
- Support clients in managing risk through effective risk management practices.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure adherence to processes, compliance, and due diligence standards.
- Manage escalated queries and address bad debt issues promptly.
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (Account Handlers, Risk Management, Broking, Leadership, LSE).
- Share knowledge and contribute to team development and continuous improvement.
About You
- Proven experience in an Account Executive role within general insurance.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and placement strategies.
- Demonstrable experience managing client relationships and delivering retention and growth.
- Experience in negotiating and influencing to achieve positive client and business outcomes.
- Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Eligible to work in the UK and travel as required.
