βœ… Are you a commercial account executive who's tired of being a cog in a big, clunky machine - and want real autonomy, a book you actually own, and a genuine stake in what you build!?

πŸš€ Culture Guru is recruiting for an experienced Commercial Account Executive on behalf of a scaling, privately-owned boutique insurance brokerage - an award-nominated Small Broker of the Year finalist - that's carving out a real name for itself while the mid-sized brokers around it keep getting bought up and flogged off.

⭐ Founded around three years ago and now at c.£1m on the book across construction, property and private clients, this is an independent brokerage that intends to stay that way - with a clear five-year plan to build up and exit. This vacancy would suit someone who wants to broke properly again: identify and win their own new business, build genuine commercial relationships, and manage their own diary with real autonomy - all without the sign-off-to-America red tape of the big groups.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
