Job Title: Commercial Account Executive Intern (Branded)
Location: Market Drayton, Shropshire
Contract: Starting July 2027, 13-month Fixed Term Contract
Hours/Shift Pattern: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

What You'll Be Doing
Müller is looking to offer talented placement students the opportunity to join our Commercial Team as a National Account Executive. If you’re passionate about building strong relationships, driving business growth, and working with some of the most-loved products in the UK, this role could be perfect for you.
We have two exciting placements available within our Commercial Team:
- Branded Team: Focused on delivering growth for Müller’s iconic Yogurt and Desserts (MYD) brands
- Private Label Team: Supporting the expansion of Müller’s Private Label business with key national retailers
Commercial Placement - Branded Team
In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the delivery of volume and profit targets for key branded customer accounts while building winning relationships with national retailers. You’ll also provide critical market intelligence to support decision-making within the business.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities Include
- Forecast Planning: Assist in accurate forecast planning to help meet sales targets
- Price Administration: Take ownership of price administration processes
- Customer Research & analysis: Conduct analysis of customer activities, and provide actionable recommendations
- Project Management: Take accountability for specific projects and their successful delivery
- Reporting: Assist in compiling internal reports for monthly business reviews
- Business Planning: Support business planning activities, including helping deliver annual budgets for volume and profit
- Collaborative Group Projects: Work alongside other placement students on a group project, enhancing teamwork and problem-solving skills

What We're Looking For
This is a fantastic opportunity for students who are enthusiastic about sales, business development, and building strong relationships. We welcome applications from students of all backgrounds and disciplines who are currently in university and looking for a placement year role. While we encourage those aiming for a 2:1 or above to apply, we also value diverse experiences, skills, and potential beyond academic grades.
- Clear and respectful communication skills: Both written and verbal. The ability to express ideas effectively, listen actively, and tailor communication to different audiences and contexts.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership abilities, demonstrated through involvement in extracurricular activities
- Adaptation in dynamic environments: Ability to adapt and stay focused in dynamic environments, including when working to tight deadlines.
- Initiative and teamwork: Capability to work independently and collaboratively
- Organisational skills: Effective time management and high attention to detail
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills: Making data-driven decisions to solve problems efficiently
- Technical proficiency: Competence with Microsoft Office and digital tools
- UK Residency: Eligibility to work in the UK (Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship as the salary falls below the required threshold.)
- UK Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least one year
