Commercial Development Executive | London | Up to £85,000 + Commission

Join an established commercial brokerage in London and take the lead on building your own book of business, with some existing clients to get you started, strong broking support behind you and commission rewarding the business you bring in.

This is a development-focused role for an experienced commercial insurance professional who enjoys winning new clients and wants the autonomy to build something of their own. You will inherit some existing business, but the long-term goal is clear: develop new relationships, grow your portfolio and establish a sizeable book within the London market.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing new commercial insurance business and building your own portfolio
  • Taking over a selection of existing clients to give you a strong starting point
  • Generating opportunities through networking, referrals and your existing market relationships
  • Meeting clients, understanding their businesses and advising on their insurance requirements
  • Working closely with an experienced broking team to negotiate with insurers and place risks
  • Managing and developing client relationships as your book grows
  • Identifying opportunities to increase revenue across both new and existing accounts
