Commercial Account Executive Based in Essex Salary £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
Are you an experienced Commercial Account Executive looking for the opportunity to join a growing independent brokerage where you can develop both existing client relationships and win new business?
We're working with a well-established insurance broker in Essex that's looking to appoint an experienced Account Executive to support the continued growth of its commercial division. You'll spend your time managing client relationships, developing new business and travelling to meet clients across the region.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of commercial clients while identifying and securing new business opportunities. This is a relationship-focused role where you'll provide tailored insurance advice, regularly meeting clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial clients.
- Develop new business through networking, referrals and self-generated opportunities.
- Meet clients across Essex to understand their businesses and insurance requirements.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through outstanding service.
- Advise on a broad range of commercial insurance products.
- Work closely with internal broking teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions.
- Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms and cover.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and maximise account growth.

About You
- Previous experience as a Commercial Account Executive within an insurance brokerage.
- Strong track record of managing existing clients and generating new business.
- Good knowledge of a broad range of commercial insurance products.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Confident meeting clients face-to-face and building lasting partnerships.
