Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking for your next opportunity with a growing and well-established insurance business?
We’re looking for a confident and commercially minded Account Handler to join a successful team in Birmingham, supporting a portfolio of commercial clients and working closely with Account Executives and insurers.
The Role
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing a high level of service.
- Handle new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and general policy administration.
- Obtain and negotiate quotations with insurers and underwriters.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurance markets.
- Support Account Executives with the day-to-day management of client accounts.
- Ensure documentation, compliance, and FCA requirements are maintained.
- Identify opportunities to develop and grow existing client relationships.

About You
- Previous experience within commercial insurance broking is essential.
- Strong knowledge across a range of commercial insurance products.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident dealing with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
