Your new company
Your new company is an established Lloyd's Broker for mid-market and larger companies in the UK. The business focusses on companies and organisations seeking board-level advice on risk management and insurance solutions. Your new Brokers specialise in handling Commercial clients through the complex landscape of commercial risk. They understand the diverse needs of businesses from large corporates to emerging ventures, meticulously crafting bespoke solutions to empower businesses to navigate uncertainty and achieve unwavering growth. Their Commercial insurance expertise allows them to protect client's assets and fuel their progress. Due to the growth within their City office, a new position as a Commercial Account Handler has arisen.
Your new role
Your new role working as a Commercial Account Handler will be to work alongside the Account handling/broking team as well as working alongside Account Executives to give an unparalleled high level of service to clients. You will be responsible for overseeing renewals, managing mid‑term adjustments, and providing informed, insightful advice to ensure clients receive the highest standard of service as well as dealing with clients from inception to completion. Liaising with clients and Underwriters daily as well as the wider team. Other duties will include developing and improving processes to give clients an exceptional service and preparing all technical insurance documentation in accordance with the company's procedures as well as invoicing.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Commercial Account Handler will contribute to your success in securing this role. This role would suit someone who is currently working with commercial / mid-corporate clients. You will have a good understanding of all commercial classes of insurance, and a knowledge of, or willingness to learn fast and have practical experience of the role of a broker. Ideally, you will have progression towards Dip CII and or have Cert CII status as a minimum and experience of Acturis. You will have good presentation, communication, both written and spoken skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. Ideally, you will be comfortable with senior people, resilient and able to work under pressure, flexible, professional, a team player and accepting of responsibility to meet deadlines with quality work.
