Commercial Account Handler – Manchester Salary: Up to £45,000 Location: Manchester Working Pattern: Hybrid – 1 day working from home
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join an established and growing insurance business in Manchester.
The Role
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will manage and service a portfolio of commercial clients, working closely with Account Executives, insurers and clients to deliver a high-quality service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy administration.
- Obtaining quotations and negotiating terms with insurers.
- Liaising with insurers and underwriters.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensuring client documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
- Supporting Account Executives with the day-to-day management of client accounts.
- Providing a high level of customer service throughout the policy lifecycle.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler within an insurance broking environment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive and client-focused approach.
