With a loyal client base, strong insurer relationships, and an excellent reputation for service, this is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team where you'll play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.

The Role
As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll work closely with Account Executives and insurer partners to deliver tailored insurance solutions while providing exceptional service throughout the client journey.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of cross-class commercial insurance clients.
- Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and day-to-day policy administration.
- Negotiating competitive terms with a wide panel of insurers.
- Advising clients on a broad range of commercial insurance products.
- Preparing market presentations and obtaining quotations.
- Supporting Account Executives with new business and client retention.
- Responding to client enquiries and providing expert insurance advice.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and strengthen existing client relationships.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler or Commercial Insurance Broker.
- Strong cross-class commercial insurance knowledge.
- Experience handling SME and Mid-Corporate commercial risks.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, organised and customer-focused approach.
- Confidence working with insurer and broking systems.
- Cert CII qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
