NJR Recruitment are working with an expanding insurance business to recruit an experienced Commercial Account Handler. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where your expertise will be valued, and your development supported within a professional and client-focused environment.

You'll play a key role in delivering a high standard of service to a varied commercial client base, working closely with Account Executives to ensure all client needs are managed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities Of The Account Handler

  • Supporting Account Executives with the management of renewals, new business, and mid-term adjustments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring all documentation and financial transactions are processed correctly.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing a high level of service and tailored support.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance cover and advising on potential gaps within existing policies.
  • Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and support the placement of risks.
  • Handling mid-term changes and providing support with claims where required.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience within a Commercial Account Handler role in an insurance broking environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive and client-focused approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high service standards.
  • Good understanding of commercial insurance products and the wider market.
