The Role
You’ll manage a portfolio of commercial clients, across a broad mix of sectors including manufacturing, engineering, food and drink, retail, haulage and transport. This is a varied portfolio role, clients ranging in size from scale up – start up businesses, to those with genuine corporate turnover numbers, and everything in between.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing cross-class risks including property, liability, motor, fleet, cyber and professional indemnity.
- Acting as a key day-to-day contact, building strong client relationships.
- Working closely with Account Directors on complex placements and programme design.
- Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and general servicing.
- Preparing market submissions and negotiating with insurers.
- Identifying gaps in cover and supporting cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Supporting and contributing to client meetings and reviews.

- Strong commercial insurance experience.
- Experience managing multiple clients, not just a small number of giant accounts as part of a team.
- Strong cross-class knowledge across property, liability, motor, cyber and financial lines.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and Account Directors.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Acturis experience is an advantage.
