Commercial Account Handler/ Trainee Account Executive
Salary - £40,000 - £50,000
London/ Hybrid
Pavilion is working with a growing and highly regarded insurance brokerage, to recruit an experienced Commercial Account Manager.
This is a great opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler or Senior Account Handler looking to take the next step, offering increased client exposure and relationship management without the heavy new business focus of a traditional Account Executive role.

- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, overseeing their insurance programmes while developing into a trusted adviser.
- Managing renewals, adjustments and day-to-day client requirements.
- Covers include: Commercial Combined, Construction, Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, Cyber, PI
- Negotiating with insurers and arranging appropriate cover
- Placing premiums up to £40,000
- Supporting clients with claims and insurance queries
- Building and developing long-term client relationships
- Attending client meetings and supporting renewal discussions
- Working with Directors, colleagues and insurer partners on complex placements
- Identifying opportunities to develop existing client relationships

About You
- Account Handler or Senior Account Handler experience with strong technical knowledge and a genuine interest in developing client relationships.
- Experience across Commercial Combined, Construction, Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, Cyber or PI would be beneficial, alongside exposure to SME or Mid-Market clients.
- A natural conversationalist, confident dealing with clients and insurers.
- Cert CII or progression towards professional qualifications is encouraged and supported.
