Let's be honest. Most Commercial Account Handler adverts are virtually identical.
"Manage renewals. Handle MTAs. Support Account Executives."
This role does all of that, but the real reason it's worth considering is the business behind it.
We're working with a highly respected independent broker that's continuing to grow and is looking to add an additional Commercial Account Handler to its team. This is a growth hire, not a replacement, and you'll be joining a business that has built an outstanding reputation for both client service and staff retention.
The team already has plenty of experience, with several handlers having over 15 years' commercial insurance experience. What they're looking for is someone who has a solid foundation in commercial broking and wants to continue developing their technical knowledge whilst working alongside experienced professionals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
