Manage strategic customer contracts. Deliver operational and commercial performance.

Aurizon is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to manage a portfolio of two strategic customer contracts valued at approximately $80 million annually.

Based in Perth CBD, this role is focused on contract management, customer governance, operational performance, and ensuring commercial obligations are delivered across an established customer portfolio.

Working closely with internal operational, supply chain and commercial teams, you'll act as the key interface between Aurizon and our customers, ensuring contractual commitments are met and long-term partnerships are successfully maintained.

About the role:

Reporting to the Commercial Portfolio Manager, you'll be responsible for the ongoing management and performance of two major customer contracts, developing a deep understanding of customer requirements and working collaboratively across the business to deliver safe, efficient and commercially sustainable outcomes.

This is not a traditional sales or business development role. Success will come from your ability to manage complex commercial agreements, build stakeholder relationships, optimise contract performance, and coordinate operational and commercial outcomes across a large organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
