An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing and successful food business supplying some of the UK’s leading retail customers.
This is much more than a traditional customer service role. You’ll take ownership of key customer relationships, manage the flow of orders and forecasts, and work closely with commercial, supply chain and operational teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.

You’ll also lead and support a small customer account team, giving you valuable leadership experience and the opportunity to develop your wider commercial skills.
The role
- Manage relationships with key retail customers
- Oversee customer orders, forecasts and stock availability
- Monitor service levels and delivery performance
- Work closely with logistics, operations and supply chain
- Analyse sales, customer performance and profitability
- Support commercial projects and customer initiatives
- Lead and develop a small customer account team
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer service

What we’re looking for
- Experience in customer account management, customer supply chain or a similar commercial role
- Exposure to retail or key account customers
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Commercially minded, proactive and confident taking ownership
- Previous team leadership experience would be advantageous
- SAP experience would be beneficial
